Wear your piece of jewelery

In order to preserve their shine, it is recommended to pay particular attention to them and to handle them with delicacy. Following a few precautions for use and maintenance will allow you to keep your jewelery pieces in perfect condition for a long time.
The precious stones and metals that make up your CHANEL piece of jewelery are delicate materials.
Choose it according to your activities.
It is best to avoid wearing your jewelry piece in the following situations:
When you wash your hands, to prevent soap scum from getting into the crevices and dulling it.
When you carry out activities requiring the use of corrosive products (gardening, cleaning, washing up, etc.), in order to avoid damaging the stones that adorn your piece of jewellery.
When you practice sports to avoid bumps and scratches.
We also recommend avoiding:
Expose your piece of jewelery to high heat: temperature differences can damage precious stones irreversibly.
To put on perfume or make-up while wearing your piece of jewellery: the chemical ingredients contained in cosmetic products are harmful to certain stones.

THE CERAMIC
Stainless material, ceramic is hard to scratch. On the other hand, deposits of materials similar to scratches can form during contact with other materials less hard than ceramic, such as gold or titanium. A simple maintenance in our workshops can erase these traces. Clean your ceramic jewelry piece with lukewarm water, rubbing it gently with a soft brush, then wiping it with a soft cloth.
THE PEARLS
The pearl is an organic material which needs to be worn regularly and which is very sensitive to chemical substances. In order to preserve its shine, avoid putting it in contact with cosmetic products likely to alter it (perfume, cream, etc.). Store your pearl jewelery piece in its original case away from other jewellery, wrapped in a soft cloth and in a damp place. To humidify the atmosphere, you can also place a small glass of water next to the jewel. Clean it with a soft damp cloth.
